It is reported that TikTok Shop Southeast Asia recently updated the rules for cross-border merchants to open multiple stores.
The same business license can cover five countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Singapore, and each country supports up to two stores.
According to the report, if you have entered the Malaysian and Thai markets, if you want to develop to other Southeast Asian countries, sellers only need to log in to the backend, enter "My Account", "Global Market" in turn, select the target country and click "Open".
It is worth noting that the maximum number of stores in the same country with a single business license is two.
This means that if you have opened a store in Vietnam, you need to confirm that the upper limit has not been reached before opening a second store. The opening of a new store requires the re-entry process, select the Vietnam site, and the second store can be launched after approval, and there is no need to go through the new store inspection period again when opening the second store.
