According to Malaysian media reports, Shopee has officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with several logistics providers to enhance excellent services for sellers and consumers. This move reaffirms Shopee's "On-Time Guarantee" program, which aims to ensure timely delivery and improve customer satisfaction.
The cooperation includes logistics companies such as BEST Inc Malaysia, City-Link Express, Flash Express, GDEX, Ninja Van Malaysia and SPX Express, marking an important step for Malaysia to strengthen express delivery services. With more reliable, efficient and timely express delivery services, the overall user experience will be significantly improved.
Malaysia's e-commerce market is expected to grow 12.8% this year to US$11 billion. In 2023, the market will grow 15% to US$9.8 billion, reflecting consumers' increasing preference for online shopping and the huge potential of the market.
Through cooperation with third-party logistics partners, Shopee aims to optimize every link in the delivery chain, shorten delivery time and improve logistics efficiency.
According to statistics, in Southeast Asia, 80% of respondents said that they would shop online more frequently if the package could be delivered on time. In Malaysia, 80% of respondents also agree with this.
Cheng Xun Chua, Director of Shopee Malaysia, said: "This MOU reflects our commitment to making the convenience of e-commerce accessible to everyone. By working with leading logistics companies, we will set new standards in delivery efficiency."
