Shopee Local Store recently updated its refund and return policy to simplify the process and enhance the user experience. Here are the specific details of the changes for the Indonesian and Thai markets:
1. Shopee Indonesia
From October 14, 2024, Shopee Indonesia Local Store will stop offering the Shopee Guarantee Extension feature. This change is intended to simplify the refund and return process and provide shoppers with a better shopping experience.
In addition to the expiration of the Shopee Guarantee period, buyers can apply for a return/fund before/after clicking the "Complete Order" button as long as the return/fund period is still valid.
2. Shopee Thailand
From October 30, 2024, Shopee Thailand Local Store will stop offering the Shopee Guarantee Extension feature to buyers due to low usage. This decision is intended to simplify the refund and return process and provide shoppers with a better shopping experience.
From October 30, 2024, buyers will no longer be able to extend the Shopee Guarantee period according to the above 2 forms, but the period during which buyers can request a refund/return under the Shopee Guarantee will remain unchanged.
