Shopee launches special Ramadan program: New registered businesses can receive IDR 1 million in aid

Ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, Shopee Indonesia has launched a new MSME Success Program aimed at supporting MSME entrepreneurs who have just registered and started their online business.
According to Shopee Indonesia Public Affairs Director Radynal Nataprawira, during the holy month of Ramadan, new MSMEs joining Shopee will receive an assistance program of up to IDR 1 million.
The assistance program includes advertising balance and vouchers worth IDR 1 million. "The program goes into the advertising space, so for MSMEs who have just joined Shopee, they can immediately receive an advertising balance of up to IDR 1 million," Nataprawira said during a meeting at the Smesco Building in Jakarta on February 20, 2025.
The program runs since February 10, 2025 and offers a variety of incentives to help business players adapt to the digital ecosystem. Specific support measures include: waived management fees for the first 50 products sold; waived service fees; free XTRA shipping for the first 200 orders; shopping vouchers worth IDR 1,000,000 that can be used to enjoy promotional discounts.
In addition, SMEs registered between February 20 and March 31, 2025 will also receive additional incentives, including an advertising balance of IDR 75,000 and additional store vouchers worth IDR 1,000,000.
