Shopee has recently updated its policy where Preferred, Preferred+, and Mall sellers in Malaysia must have at least a 90% handover rate. What is Shopee’s Fast Handover Rate (FHR)?

Fast Handover Rate (FHR) is a performance metric that measures how quickly orders are handed over from the seller to the courier. For the handover to count as “fast,” it usually needs to happen within 30 minutes or before the cut-off time (COT) set by Shopee.

Effective 16th April 2025, the cut-off time (COT) for orders has been changed from 2PM to 12PM. For the handover to count as “fast”:

  • orders paid before 12PM must be handed over and scanned by the logistics provider by 11:59PM on the same working day
  • orders paid after 12PM, sellers must hand them over by 11:59PM on the next working day

This change means sellers for Preferred, Preferred+, and Mall need to be efficient in preparing and shipping orders to maintain a high Fast Handover Rate (FHR).
