Shopee Updated Cut-Off Time: 12PM (Effective 16 April 2025)

Before we dive into the details, note that all three services now follow the same cut-off time of 12PM. Orders paid before 12PM are eligible for their respective delivery timeframes. Sellers must scan and hand over parcels within the given timelines to stay compliant.
 

Shopee Same Day Delivery (SDD)

Same Day Delivery (SDD) is Shopee’s quickest shipping method. It uses ShopeeFood riders to deliver orders on the same day, as long as buyers pay before 2PM.

It replaces the older “Instant Delivery” system, which gave sellers 24 hours to ship out items. Now, with SDD, the focus is speed, orders need to be processed and handed over fast, so buyers can receive them within a few hours after placing the order.

• Delivery Time: Same day if paid before 2:00 PM.

• Delivery Partner: ShopeeFood Riders.

• Weight Limit: 10 kg.

• Dimension Limit: 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm.

• Coverage Area: Based on ShopeeFood’s coverage in Klang Valley, Johor, Penang, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Perak, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu. (Kelantan and Perlis not supported.)

• Eligible Sellers: Whitelisted sellers only (notified via push one week in advance).

• Seller Working Days: Daily, excluding weekends and public holidays.

• Order Handling:

  • Before 12 PM: Seller must hand over and scan the order within 3 hours of shipment arrangement and complete by 6:00 PM.

  • After 12 PM: Same process, but shipment must be arranged by 6:00 PM the next working day.

• Drop-Off Option: Not available (pick-up only).

• Buyer’s Location: Must be within the same state and within 30 km of the seller’s pick-up address.
   

Shopee Next Day Delivery (NDD)

Next Day Delivery (NDD) is a fast shipping option where buyers will get their order the next working day, as long as they pay before 12 PM.

It’s a great choice for buyers who want their stuff quickly, but don’t need it the same day. It’s mostly used for same-state deliveries, but some interstate deliveries are also possible depending on the location.

• Delivery Time: Next working day (if paid before 12 PM).

• Delivery Partner: SPX Express.

• Weight Limit: 30 kg.

• Dimension Limit: 125 cm x 125 cm x 125 cm.

• Coverage Area: West Malaysia, same-state only. Interstate available for certain selected states only.

• Eligible Sellers: Whitelisted sellers only.

• Seller Working Days:

  • Mall & Preferred Sellers: Daily including Saturday.

  • Others: Daily except weekends and public holidays.

• Order Handling: Orders placed before/after 12 PM must be handed over and scanned by 11:59 PM on the same or next working day.

• Drop-Off Option: Available, orders must be dropped off by 11:59 PM.

• Buyer’s Location: Must be within the same state or in selected interstate states supported by NDD.
   

Shopee 2-Day Delivery (2DD)

With 2-Day Delivery (2DD), buyers will get their order within 2 working days, as long as they pay before 12 PM on a working day.

It’s not as fast as Same Day or Next Day delivery, but it gives sellers more flexibility, especially for bigger or bulkier orders. However, 2DD only works for same-state deliveries at the moment, so both buyer and seller need to be in the same state.

• Delivery Time: Within 2 working days (if paid before 12 PM).

• Delivery Partner: SPX Express.

• Weight Limit: 30 kg.

• Dimension Limit: 125 cm x 125 cm x 125 cm.

• Coverage Area: West Malaysia, same-state parcels only.

• Eligible Sellers: Whitelisted sellers only.

• Seller Working Days:

  • Mall & Preferred Sellers: Daily, including Saturday.

  • Others: Daily except weekends and public holidays.

• Order Handling: Orders must be handed over and scanned by 11:59 PM, based on order placement time.

• Drop-Off Option: Available with same-day deadlines.

• Buyer’s Location: Seller and buyer must be in the same state.
