On January 7, Indonesian local platform Bukalapak announced the closure of its e-commerce business and physical goods market, and will shift its focus to virtual products, including mobile points and internet packages.

In a message to users, Bukalapak said that the last day to place an order will be February 9, 2025. All orders that sellers have not processed before March 2 will be automatically canceled.

At the same time, the balance in the Bukalapak e-wallet can be transferred to the user's bank account before March 14. Provide traders with guidance on completing orders, withdrawing balances and downloading transaction data before the end of March.

After the e-commerce business is closed, users can still purchase virtual products such as credit, data packages and bill payments.

Bukalapak is a major Indonesian e-commerce platform founded in 2011. It connects buyers and sellers, offering a wide range of products, including electronics, fashion, and groceries. The platform also provides services like digital payments and logistics, aiming to empower local businesses and drive Indonesia's digital economy.
