1. Shopee Philippines sellers need to update business information from April 29
Recently, according to the regulations of the Philippine Information Technology Administration (ITA), all online sellers must submit relevant seller business information and documents to their e-commerce platforms before June 20, 2025.
In response to this requirement, Shopee Philippines Local Store issued a notice on April 7, requiring platform sellers to fill in and update business information through the Seller Center from April 29, otherwise they will face store restrictions.

This move is aimed at ensuring that sellers operate in compliance and maintain platform order. In addition, for sellers selling legally regulated goods, ITA stipulates that necessary licenses must be obtained. Such regulations help to ensure the safety, reliability and quality of products on the market.
Sellers without licenses will not be allowed to sell regulated goods. To avoid product restrictions from April 29, relevant sellers must submit licenses through the Seller Center immediately.

At the same time, its Affiliate Marketing Solutions (AMS) program is also helping brands and KOLs to jointly create more authentic and attractive content experiences, thereby driving sales conversions and improving user loyalty.
As consumers' shopping methods evolve, video content is rapidly reshaping the interaction model between users and brands.
